MockCat renders mockups in your browser. In the screenshot studio, files you choose, drop or paste are decoded and composited on your device. They are not sent to an image-generation service.

Choosing a curated scene downloads a pre-made background from this site, like loading any other page image. Changing your screenshot or exporting the composition does not generate a new background. Your exported file leaves your device only if you choose to share it.
